Dr Andrea Shepperson used her global experience as an international speaker to construct a venue that would be unlike any other. The concept was born from a desire to share a beautiful location with like-minded colleagues.  Dr Shepperson wanted to provide a change from hotel-based training venues - a place to step out of busy practice life where colleagues can relax, clear their heads and be surrounded by nature as they embrace new science and clinical knowledge.  

The Centre sits on 10 acres in the heart of Church Bay, Waiheke Island, a 35 minute ferry ride from Auckland's CBD.  Filled with natural light, the property has panoramic vistas of the Hauraki Gulf and Auckland City. Surrounded by established New Zealand native bush, birdsong, vineyards and only 5 minutes drive from the Fullers ferry it is a unique venue which is the perfect location for recalibration, creative thinking and new strategies.

A chef's kitchen, state of the art AV facilities, air-conditioning, underfloor heating, outdoor dining, disabled access and breakout/sponsor room provide a convenient small group venue for up to 30 people. Designed principally for a dental audience, it adapts well for any medical specialty or corporate group for events of more than 2 days.

There are opportunities to walk into the bush at breaks and experience New Zealand native flora and fauna - tui, kereru, parrots, pukeko, fantails and kaka who visit in summer from Great Barrier Island. 

Waiheke Island has an abundance of world class food and wine, and the centre uses talented local chefs to showcase the best of Island cuisine and flair.  All meals are provided for dental events, and courses run on a Friday and Saturday, allowing participants to extend their stay to embrace island life.
